About

Find here material related to open discussion on topics. See this sister category for many more discussion ppts.

Go HERE for many conversation questions related to different themes....  Also, our page of DISCUSS IT videos with questions pre and post watching. Superb!

Also, see this Lesson In A Can about Conversations...  These PPTs can be used just "out of the box" too - for prompting conversation.

Find below a few examples. Also see our Pass the Paper games for a very interactive way to foster group discussion / language production.

2 great sites for conversation questions are the itesl journal and Sean Banville's ESL Discussions.

I teach in South Korea, and have used the itesl questions for teaching adults, and for my job at a middle school, the questions are good for classes with: parents, korean english teachers, teachers English class.

Here is an idea I've had for a looooong time. used our random ppt generator to make a series of slides with A/B discussion questions.

Just hit "s" on the keyboard to start and stop and get a random slide of conversation questions. Works great and hours of teaching possibility here. Print if desired using Print - Print preview - Print.
