About

A wonderful video for a lesson on "Giving Advice".

Use with the listening worksheet included. Students first listen to the commercial and then put the lines in order.  Watch again and check answers. Next, students from memory try to fill in the blanks for the advice given. Then watch again, check.

Ask students to write down and share their own 3 pieces of advice. Or to rank Taylor's advice - which are the most important? Have a class vote!

Students can study this on EnglishCentral and teachers can sign up as a teacher and assign this for study (and track student achievement). Transcript and lesson plan here.

Read the book on Gif Lingua. It's all about Taylor Swift.

Here is a nice simple ppt about Taylor Swift.  Also this lyric sheet for the song "Style".

See this video about Taylor Swift on EnglishCentral.
