Thank you all. This has been a revelation. I'm working on a project on speaking skills at my school and the dialogue karaokes are just what I needed.

Free Karaoke of the Best Available

If you have an issue with piracy then you probably won't want to go there. Website is only in Vietnamese but I've been able to figure out how it works.

Their way of recording yourself is to play the song through YOUR room speakers and then sing through a microphone which picks up the music and your vocal at the same time. Result quality depends on your audio skills. But I would think a lot of fun for kids. And one can add screen lyrics or picture albums, etc.

Use the English search box at the top of the page to find artists/songs.

I have a trick whereby I can feed my home karaoke and vocal through my mic output through my audio board with effects and get a nice clean recording.

Any karaoke song can be recorded to your pc by using free recording software like Audacity and its (Line In) choice instead of Microphone.

If you need any assistance let me know.

Great to hear from you and hear you sing! Pretty neat set up they made -- I'll try it out soon and see what I can come up with, nothing like your own standard of course!

Hey! By the way, LOVE Karaoke in the classroom! I heard that somewhere on this site there is a karaoke video done in text lingo. I was wondering where it is? I am doing a lesson on text lingo and though my kids would enjoy it! Thanks!!!
