Thanks for the quick response David. I tried hidemyass.com and it
works but I can't seem to expand the folders when I click on them.
Guess I'll have to have a little chat with the tech guy.

Help!!! I need fun and interesting things to do that don't involve the computer. I am at a school that does not have computers in the classroom. Also, the students have to stay in thier desks. I am new to teaching in a classroom and am having a difficult time thinking of activities that they will like to do that don't require music or powerpoint. Please help me!! ^_^

Hi there! I'm amazed with all the tools, activities and information that this website presents. I´m still in the process of screening and getting familiar with everything this page offers with web 2.0 for foreign language teachers and learners. So far, so good! I love sharing teaching and learning experiences so I guess I will be connected with people around the world very often through this channel. The fact of being part of such selected community overwhelms me and thrills me. This time I just want to congratulate the people that make this possible . Bye, Ana Heredia

Hello everyone. I am currently taking EFL/ESL teaching courses and I am looking forward to finishing so I can start teaching others. It's something I've always wanted to do. Wish me luck :). On Sundays and Mondays I take some time off to teach English online for free.It helps me sharpen my teaching skills and helps me get to know the different needs of learners of English. I am on Skype during those days. If anyone is interested in learning English(conversation/grammar/reading/writing). Contact me at my Skype Id---> xangelheart25x . See you soon !

I'm looking for resources--especially visuals--about body language. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone. I just taught my first class today for a group of EFL students in China. After having the students do some introductions and complete a short survey, I was shocked to discover that they were at a much lower level than I'd anticipated. Apparently, the university allowed a lower group of students than I was told previously. So now I'm scrambling for low/intermediate EFL writing materials! The course is supposed to be an intermediate/advanced EAP writing course, but the students seem so low, that I see no way of introducing them to academic content when they can't even compose coherent sentences or paragraphs, let alone an essay. Anyone have any advice or a place to look for materials?

Thanks Beatriz! Welcome. Lots of good people around and we're trying to make it better, slow but sure. Just other teachers helping each other....

PS. - I'll be sending out a message but now to use the video conferencing rooms, members need a password (too much spam before). "eflclassroom".

hi every one! I find the esl class surfing the web. I'm a self learning student of english (because I finished school about twenty years ago), but I'm still dreaming of speaking this language fluently, like a native speaker!

You can do it! (or seems to me you already are mostly there). There is a lot here to help you. Make friends, use the chat/video tools, read books and more....

Hi! Just signed in last week and I love this site. I'm an ESOL teacher. Is it me or have our responsibilities changed? Compared to a veteran teacher of 20 years, I'm pretty new, but I'm feeling the changes already! lol Does anyone else feel this way?
