The EFL Classroom Magazine
We have a new "Magazine" to keep you informed about everything happening on EFL Classroom 2.0. All content will get updated and prioritized there. Click underneath and get a whole list of what else is there also! I'll be continuing to refine this and create public categories so you can get what you want, when you want!

Video of the Month

Wow! So many amazing videos this month. What is a Moment? has a beautiful discussion (and is also a great video for use with students). The  Bill Cosby commencement address also got many hits. However, the vote (most hits) this month goes to 6 Billion Others - an amazing series of interviews with subtitles. Real Wisdom!

View our whole directory of hundreds of THE BEST VIDEOS. Don't forget ourA/V Player and I'd also suggest our new H.S. Musical page and resources!

New and Recommended Resources

As always - New Elementary Resources!    Silly Symphonies Videos  is a series of old comics with great content for contextualizing learning.    Guess Who/What   is a fully editable game. Students choose a box and take a guess at the vocab. item!     Pass the Paper Games  are my own invention after being inspired and reminded of this technique by a teacher whose classroom I visited. JUST TRY IT! Many, and no need to explain - your students will love it! Other new resources include:          Discussion Questions               Spin the Question          Proust Interviews

English Central Teacher's Area

Eng. Central    I've been busy helping English Central design their Teacher's Area. English Central is an amazing tool, backed by Google for the benefit of helping English Language Learners around the world. See our discussion  for more info. or dive in   and start inviting your students today and using the tools to assess them.  Experiment on our own E.C. teacher's channel.

Requests / Events and What's Coming Up....

I'll be starting up the scribblar room  with a weekly meeting on a selected number of TESOL topics. The first will be classroom management. Don't miss it. Visit our events calendar for information later this week. In the meantime, why not try the scribblar, a state of the art teaching room, with content provided!    Also, one request - keep sharing and posting up your lessons! Also, don't forget to tag your entries for easy finding with our very unique community wide search.

TEFList - The Video Resume Job Site
I have been working over one year now in an effort to build a unique job recruitment site for teachers. TEFList will use video resumes so teachers can better showcase themselves. Further, all the jobs on the web will be in one place and both employers and teachers will have a one stop home (email, conferencing, resume printing, search etc...). Our alpha will be launched this month and I'll be asking members to help give us valuable feedback. Please help out!  All alpha members will get lifetime premium benefits! Stay tuned for the full launch shortly - you'll be amazed at the features and how it will revolutionize the TESOL online job search.

Edublogs Award

A big thank you to all who recently voted. There were dozens of final nominees and we came runner up! Well done and thanks for making EFL Classroom  the most unique community possible - combining conversation with resources. A library where you can chat!
