"Hey Guys, I can't remember where I got this from (been a long day) and it might have even been this website :) I thought I would repost it in case I had gotten it from a different site. I am by no means taking credit for its creation, just…"
"Hey David, I have used his Breakingnewsenglish before for my intermediate classes but my beginners, even my advanced beginners get so caught up and overwhelmed by some of the lingo. I just love the newsenglish lessons for it's simplicity :)…"

"Hey Guys, I showed one Episode of Extra English to first grade middle school here in South Korea (students are around 12 to 13 years old) and I found myself really not sure about the sexual connotations in the videos. Just looking for other…"
"Hey Caleb, I also agree that the first few months teaching in Korea can be one of the most challenging times in our teaching careers. I have taught in Thailand and no other teaching position has been as challenging. So I offer you my sympathy for…"

"Here is a Karaoke version of Stick to the Status Quo from Highschool Musical 1. It's not the best quality but for now it is the best I could find. Just did it this morning and all students could read it on our big TV :)"

Yep, that was me at Rose Avenue! I was busy doing my ultra running but fit in a year there. A big challenge but I lived close by (just across the bridge in Riverdale) and loved teaching a class so full of different cultures. But being stuck out in the portable was a drag! We baked in summer, I'm sure you can understand -- I'd walk around with a spray can full of water spraying students if they were on task! But I get emails from time to time from students and family there - so I guess I made a difference and really that's the bottom line about "teaching".
Hope you find some stuff here to help you. I started this as a kind of hand made thing. Just a way to make education free and easier for teachers -- avoiding all the commercialization. Cheers and great for hear from someone who's been to Rose Avenue!
