Ah, self-sustaining. A great goal to set. I 've turned my attention to other online projects, so am not creating new episodes of Lynn in the PM. They're still available for downloading. It's been fun and a good learning experience and I'm ready to apply what I learned, especially about audio, to new projects and my teaching.
At 11:24pm on June 30, 2008,

good to hear from you! My a year goes by quickly.....

I reached my goal to make this community self sustaining after one year (really it only started in Sept. - but officially I signed up June 27th last year).

How are things? I really have to get online and take a listen to your show. Is it growing, steady?

At 2:22am on April 11, 2008,

that's an area I'm rather weak in, I'm really only a generalist when it comes to pronounciation (meaning, I believe we learn to "pronounce" through a lot of exposure to sound at the right / comprehsible level.

Maybe put up a post about this? I do have a few good sites in the Buzka links. Hit the tab "links".

So you've changed to Lynn in the PM? I guess that's what happened when I was looking! I'll be coming by soon....

cheers from Korea.

Hi David. I changed the name to "Lynn in the PM" and I talk about a variety of topics, not just language and culture. Come by anytime. It's still informal. It'll be nice to talk with you again and catch up.
Topics posted in advance at http://eslteacherlynn.blogspot.com

This week, I've been off due to not feeling well but will be back.

Hey Lynn,

I hope you are well. I finally had some time and wanted to drop in on cultural soup but couldn't find it on Talk Shoe. Is it still there? Has your program changed to something different. Let me know, want to join in a little!

At 10:47pm on December 3, 2007,
Thanks Lynn for the vote. We needed a change of colors and it was Christmas seasons so that seemed to fit....something else coming in the New Year....

I hope you are fine and looking forward to X-mas. Also that you have a white Christmas. Calgary usually does if my memory is correct. I remember my first day there, -40, I got into the train station and bought a newspaper. Headline was "Eastern bums and creeps go home!". You can guess the year! I stayed for a year then, played semi pro soccer for a great team. Then went back home to university the next year. Calgary was probably so much different back then!

Hey Lynn,

Sorry for being so NOT checking into Cultural soup. Really wanted to but life just keeps getting in the way....I hope tomorrow but most likely not, I'm off to speak out of town and have to head out early....ugh...

Just want to tell you that I put up your player on our main page. I hope it will encourage others to check out your show! I hope also once we get enough regular members, we can have a once a month podcast with you as host. If you wouldn't mind hosting.

I think podcasting invaluable and wish I wasn't such a "dummy" about it all. We could just run a show based on a "loose" topic to begin and see how members would respond.

So a big hello for now and thanks for your own work, making this world a bit smaller and friendlier.

Hi Lynn,

I'm finally coming up for air! Just want to say, I'll drop in on your podcast next week and will advertise here! Hopefully a few people will investigate.

Hope all is well back "home" Talk more later..

At 1:16am on August 25, 2007,
Hi Lynn!

Welcome to our little community. But growing in the near future, slow but sure...

I've been meaning to get back to you but after summer camp, deluged with big lectures for orientation of hundreds of new foreign teachers to Seoul.

I hope you'll get a lot more people from here dropping by your show. Great way for teachers to get a nice, warm, comfortable introduction into podcasting. I'll be shouting your name out to members!

I've sent an invite to the additional powerpoint resources. Enjoy and hopefully they will be of use. Lots of videos, quizzes, exciting links to sites and other things here. Browse around and make some friends! NING will be coming out with some even more exciting add ons for us shortly.

How's the teaching year looking? I guess you are gearing up. Hope your batteries are recharged.

PS> have you ever heard of Storynory? www.storynory.com Podcast of stories for children/adults. Pretty neat and the woman Natasha has a great story telling way...
