Hi Jasim,

I just wrote you a letter calling you Muntaha, and now I realize perhaps that was not correct- help me, I do not know which name to use! :D

I see that NO ONE properly welcomed you when you joined- I am sorry for that! Sometimes we get so busy around here that we miss a few days... that is no reflection on how much you are appreciated, though it must seem like that... again, sorry... here is the standard welcome message I write, it has some useful links:

Welcome to EFL Classroom!

We have many teaching resources here that I hope you'll find useful and enjoy. Please visit our Welcome Page for lots of information about the community. Also, many handy tips for getting around this site and doing what you want to do can be found in the discussion, Using EFL Classroom 2.0.

There's always more to explore. If you are looking for a quick, effective activity, Lessons in a Can can't be beat. We have a big collection of Karaoke songs, especially suited for EFL use. There are many sources for professional development throughout the site (here's one big example!) ...and I'm always finding something interesting and new just by clicking around : ). Let me know if I can be of any help in finding or using a resource, it really is my pleasure.

When you have a moment, please share your experience and resources with us, too. Introduce yourself, share more about your country in our World Connections, start or respond to a discussion, post a video or blog- let's keep creating a great teaching and learning community together!

All the best,

Ellen

“Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper.” - Robert Frost

I look forward to sharing with you soon, Jasim!
