Hi Richard,

Welcome to EFL Classroom! I lived in Connecticut many years ago... Hartford, New Haven, and Killingsworth (very little town!). Happy to have you with us. Just to let you know, the link to your ning is not working... says Page Not Found.

We have many teaching resources here that I hope you'll find useful and enjoy. Please visit our Welcome Page for lots of information about the community. Also, many handy tips for getting around this site and doing what you want to do can be found in the discussion, Using EFL Classroom 2.0.

There's always more to explore. If you are looking for a quick, effective activity, Lessons in a Can can't be beat. We have a big collection of Karaoke songs, especially suited for EFL use. There are many sources for professional development throughout the site (here's one big example!) ...and I'm always finding something interesting and new just by clicking around : ). Let me know if I can be of any help in finding or using a resource, it really is my pleasure.

When you have a moment, please share your experience and resources with us, too. Introduce yourself, share more about your country in our World Connections, chat, start or respond to a discussion, post a video or blog- let's keep creating a great teaching and learning community together!

Best and warmest wishes,

If you can't teach me to fly, teach me to sing."
