LOL!  It only took me four years to accept your friend/contact request!

And I am the online manager for a Ning! [Therefore I should know better!]

How different one Ning can be from another.

I've followed your tweets and posts here and there (TESOL/EVO/elsewhere) for years.

Thank you for the reachout.

I've just sent my payment (finally) to be in the "Lifetime Supporters" club, and hope to find time to share more often here.

Smiles,

Holly

Thankyou David, and thanks for the warm welcome to the community - I'll try and find some time soon to be more active here as it looks like a great place to meet people and share resources

Graham,

Thanks for posting your "new" video. Great to see it and I was surprised to then make the connection, that the first one I posted here long ago (when we first started EFL Classroom a looooong month ago) was you.

Very basic, useful info. I'm sure you see, like I do, the amazing potential in language learning of Web 2.0. More so than many other disciplines.

I also got from your blog that you are into Second Life. I'm a neophyte there, maybe you could post some basic info for us - something introductory that might help us make sense of it? I've entered but find it rather overwhelming.....

Thanks again

David

Graham,

Welcome to EFL Classroom 2.0! So glad you found us and hope you help us build a stimulating and sharing community for EFL educators.

I"m going to look at your blog this weekend. I hope when you have the time, you'll contribute and share your own extensive experience. Especially multimedia, I can never get enough! Come Sept. we will be growing here....so far this has just been in test mode. So look forward to a very dynamic community of professionals.

When you have the time, personalize your homepage, browse the forums/videos/links/ , offer your own 5 cents worth and share your ideas. Check out the quizzes, the Batcave of resources and our media fire account where I will be uploading many more resources.

Take care, hope to question you more about podcasting too! I'm a neopodcastophite....

David

PS. invite to the powerpoint resources sent.
