Welcome to my blog ! Today I want to tell you something about my hobbies and interests.

First, I love all kinds of music, like Pop , R&B , Country, and some others. When I lived in

Vietnam, in the summer time, I stayed at home every day, and I listened to music almost all the time.

I also like to hang out with friends and take pictures. I was a teen model for some magazines in my country . I like badminton , but actually I'm not very good at it . I have lived here for 3… Continue

Day 6- SCUBA in Seogwipo

I have settled into my hostel in Seogwipo. Jeju Hikers Inn is just down the street from the German owned dive shop that I went out with yesterday. I urge all SCUBA inclined travelers in Jeju to stop by Big Blue 33. Ralph is highly professional and his love for diving is apparent.

We had wide representation of the world's nations in our… Continue

Day 5- Swimming in Seaweed Soup

I think I found the only place in Korea with no PC Bangs. The last couple of days I have been in Seongsam staying at a redbrick Minbuk (guest house) with a view of this 5,000 year old volcano from my window. I did not indulge in the SCUBA that originally brought me to Seongsam.

Instead I meandered around the area with the zeal and speed of a 100 year old turtle. I tried one of the local beaches but it was so choked with seaweed that it felt like swimming in seaweed soup. Later, I… Continue

EA08 Day 03- Sunburns and Surprise Meats...

Sunday I traveled from Pohang to Gimhae Airport via Gyeongju to catch my flight to Jeju City. It was the easiest time I have ever had with a flight. After I got off the bus it was no more than 20 minutes until I was on my flight. This was helped along by the nice woman at the counter getting me on an early flight at her own suggestion and much to my surprize. Security took only 2 minutes. The plane was strikingly empty… Continue

Moar Death by English Camp

I am half way done with Death by English Camp 3.0. I havent had a day off since two weeks ago. Last weekend I did yet another English camp for Seonra Middle School on Sat and Sun. Needless to say my energy is waning this week. I had a couple of periods off and I slept on the couch for 3 hours today. I needed it as after I woke up I felt like a new man.

My team this week is not as enthusiastic as the previous two weeks. I suspect that… Continue

Tips For Teaching Languages.....

If I had to say my number one tip for teaching languages.....I couldn't. There is no No. 1, top dog, big cheese. Why?

Well, I think us teachers are all so different. What works with one, with another it bombs...... All depends is the defining language....

But if I were forced to state something, I'd probably first say -- "Make it necessary". There has to be a need and a teacher can go a long way in providing that fundamental emotive drive and desire.… Continue

Tips for Learning languages.....

My number one tip for learning a language is...................

Well I have too many for there to be a NUMERO UNO but if I had to say something first, I'd say --

"A little Every Day".

Just a little a day adds up. Do whatever you like - watch videos, go to class, memorize words, mumble infront…

International Polar Year

Did you know it was International Polar Year? I didn't until I was browsing this WONDERFUL web site for K - 12 educators, Teacher's Domain. They have interactive science videos that are great, as well as some special collections, one being Polar Sciences. The site is run by WGBH (public TV station in Boston) and though right now it is focused on the sciences, in the fall they… Continue
