Spoken Verse

Perhaps you might know that I have a little connection with poetry -- you can see that at my "A Poem A Day" blog. So I really, really think poetry can be great, especially for teachers!

So it was with wonder and huzza that I first clasped eyes on "Spoken Verse" , a gigantic youtube collection of spoken poetry in video. It has gems galore. For the classroom or just for teachers. You can… Continue

Picture Puzzle Maker

This picture puzzle maker is really simple! Just go to the webpage, upload a photo and then choose how small you want the pieces to be. (I recommend choosing the largest size, that is difficult enough).

I like how this site is so easy to use. It would also be… Continue

Site of the Day - BlinkX

I'll be reviewing a lot of our old Website of the day reviews (we are almost up to 400!) and continuing here in blog form. Easier to find and catalogue!

Blinkx is a video search engine. An excellent one at that and they advertise that there are 18 million videos available! But more than a search engine, it is a way of presenting those… Continue
