Using Technology to Teach Speaking

I recorded my talk at the recent KOTESOL National Conference - Getting Students Speaking: Harnessing the Power of New Technologies.

It's a pretty comprehensive overview of online tools and technologies. Here's the presentation of only the websites (click the images to go to that website).

Thanks to Aaron and all the hard working Kotesol organizers for really pushing the envelope by skyping me in and starting to use this type of professional development!

I can't access this for some reason...has it been removed?  Is it available somewhere else?

Hmmm, this is strange Liz.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. This talk was quite a popular talk  (our "views" don't represent much right now - they just were installed as a count on blogs/forums).

I know Present.me has gone through a lot of changes etc... as a beta and I think something has  been done to my account. I can't get access to it at all and have requested an answer. In the event this doesn't ever work again, I'll rerecord with Knovio - a similar site but with which I have a good relationships with and I"m helping them get some exposure.

I would just use my own Camtasia or Jing but like using these kind of "all in one" sites because they are the simplest for most teachers and thus, a good model for getting them using these sorts of things to share knowledge/ideas.

Thank you very much for this presentation. I am impressed by the variety of tools that are available for serving the teachers and the students.

Thank you
