Wallwisher - online post it notes for students and teachers

Wallwisher is a great way to get students writing and also a great evaluation tool.

Students or teachers can put up their own eNotes onto a bulletin board. As they describe, "an Online Notice Board Maker". Very simple to use and students love how attractive they can make it! Easy to register, 1 step process.

Take a look how this teacher used Wallwisher with her students - about a lesson on dinosaurs. Students wrote what they learned - a great way to assess and get students thinking about their learning! Teachers could even put up a question and have students reply on the Wallwisher!

I love the simplicity of this program- and you don't need to have an email address to post! Also, the comments can be moderated or not, and notice of new posts come to your email account.

If you have a web site, each page could have its own wall. So far, I've stuck to one wall as a test "community bulletin board" that young students can safely use on Portland Free School... but nobody has left a comment yet!

If only I had a captive audience... ; )
