BAAM is a great way to "review" student learning. Students love it and unlike many games, it keeps all students engaged and focused. Even get your students making the BAAM games to play!

Here are the newest templates. Find games in this style at the end of these pages/resources.

Please feel free to modify these BAAM games. To change the BAAM slides, just drag them to a different position but be sure to always keep the HOME slide in the same position!

Enjoy! These and more are also available on our GAMES page, scroll to the bottom.

Here are three animation baam games to practice verb tenses. Great way to get students to see the proper use of verbs and how verbs change with the tense in English.

Great!! Thanks!
Here's a BAAM game with funny pictures to practise prepositions.

Thanks for sharing your great power points. Where do you get your animations from?
Duncan,

These are cool for young learners. I will have to make some more but find a series of ppt jeopardy games also here, with them...

First made by Michael Turcotte who was probably the first teacher to jump on my sharing bandwagon in this part of the world...I think he got them from Animation Factory but unless you bittorent, you have to pay...Give him a shout... http://eflclassroom.ning.com/profile/mptur2007

Here is the "timely" Olympic Version. Get in the spirit!

Your students can be creative with the answers but they mostly focus on basic Olympic vocabulary (medals, ceremony, podium, protest, rings, motto etc...) but for lower levels -- accept any answer that goes with the picture/question.

Have fun!

Hi Dave. I'm having a problem with changing the slides. I will change them and play the game, but the baam! slides are always in the same place when I play the game? Have you heard of this before, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help.
Carl
Carl,

That is strange and I also tried it and it does the same thing on the few I tried...never used to. I think somehow the action settings are getting rolled over...they change and roll with the slide change - so.....

The easiest thing to do, to change the slides in this case is to go to the home slide. You will have to just switch some of the numbered boxes around. No need to do too many , just enough to throw a wrench into the game.

How?

Each box consists (in layered order), an invisible action setting coating the box, an X and the box itself. Drag all 3 in sequence to the side and fill with another 3. Replace that one with the one on the side. Repeat. Be careful, drag slowly and you'll have to renumber the box to the proper number. That's all. A little work but not that hard to do....especially once you get the hang of it.

If you screw up, just close, don't save and reopen, try again.....

Let me know how this works!

Cheers,

David
Thanks Dave that worked perfectly. I've uploaded two different boards with the Baam squares marked. These are completely blank , however, except for the point values. For some reason my co teacher didn't want dollars.
My camp is using a book (Let's Go Book 3), so I do have a few of those ppts. I'll post those tomorrow.
