Here are some resources to teach the Snowman.  Follow the directions on the worksheet.

Also, Mike Harrison has a nice description of a "Stolen Snowman" lesson. on his blog. Here's the BBC report.

Glad you see how beautiful and simple a story it is!  A gem.

I've used this before and known about it for a while - but went out to a concert last night where this was played - got home and set to work. I'll post up a download for the movie later today.

Merry merry to you all in Spain!  Again - congrats on your graduation too! It has been a big year for you.

You're both welcome - enjoy! I know educators really need stuff offline - so trying when possible to make it available. Also, the version on youtube is of horrible quality (youtube really over compresses video which destroys the quality!).

It is a strange and tiring year since I decided (out of the blue almost) to change my field of teaching. I'm  currently working in a Vocational School and everything is new to me. As a matter of fact, everything is new for everybody because English was not part of the vocational formative cycles  (professional families) curricula until this school year.

I work 24/7 and against the clock, everything is to be done for today and I'm all alone in the English department. I am the English department, which means paperwork, staff meetings, board meetings, class preparations, materials, assignments, exams, 3 different programmes of study, search for resources for English for Specific purposes, etc, etc. And mine are really specific purposes.

There are three new modules of English: one for Pharmacy and Parapharmacy  students, another one for Micro-computer systems and networks students and last but not least (quite on the contrary) Early Childhood Education trainees.

I've been so busy (still am) that I haven't been able to ask for help here. There was so many tasks to do I couldn't choose one. The truth is that I am exhausted, weary.

I'm really looking forward Xmas holidays! Thx for the congrats and have a very merry Xmas time too.

Only the best on EFL!!

Hi Rosa, so nice to see you again : ) Wow, are your hands full!! The Pharmacy module reminds me of a job Adele had recently... filming a "soap opera" that was written to help nurses from the Phillipines learn English! She said it was the worst script she had ever read, but it was funny :D

Let me know if there is anything specific I can help with, Rosa... I have the time, just need an assignment : )

I have been mostly offline, lots of reasons ... But leave it to David's finds to pull me back again!

I am downloading the high quality version to put up on Portland Free School... the site has been so ignored since Spring!
