About

Just for the laugh / fun of it! (no teaching stuff allowed)

Does anyone have some nice, fun stuff to share? Nothing about teaching but just something to entertain and maybe make a worn out teacher smile?

I'll start sharing with this clip. Can't stop laughing!

Also, try this, I found it in the chat box! Sock and Awe. I got 7!

Ellen,

What is an "ampersands" and what is the significance of it? hmmm

I don't see much fun in it either  :)

It's a sensuous thing, David! To quote Brian Hoff:

The Mesmerizing Curves of the Ampersands

Typography can be a beautiful thing — words positioned strategically on a page; the way letterforms take shape; varying weights on a beautifully designed typeface… and who can overlook the sweeping, magnificent curves and lines of the ampersand?

And a few excerpts from the comment box:

...I too am fixated with their form.. .Ah, this was so relaxing to read!...I heart (&)... Is there any character that tells more about its font than an ampersand?

Besides, so many of them look like me:

Guess you have to be there :D

Ampersands are like women, David... which one reminds you most of Ji Hae? Of your mom? The woman who sat in front of you during uni lectures? The one just walking down the street?

Now don't you feel more relaxed?

(If this didn't work, try one more time at full size)

I think this is pretty funny to look at...

This one is for Ellen.  Dance your heart out.

:D Grandpa must do this kind of often- couldn't get the kid to even look up!

This is a fun 3 min. - that's about it.

I am going to use this one to start a webinar I'll be giving online in a few weeks. Says a lot about the subject I'll be talking about.

This might hit a button or two with somebody...

Funny, I've used that exact phrase... :D

:D That's not PMS, that's our only behavioral option for keeping you guys AT ALL in line! We would be run RAGGED without it!!

Last line was really funny... hadn't thought of that : )

I thought it was a cow, and he was telling time by how full her udders were :D
