About

Hi everyone - just wanted to let you all know that our brilliant new Korean travel website has just been launched - looks like it's gonna grow into something great!  Check out http://www.thesouthkoreatravelguide.com for info on towns and cities, travel, and bus and train schedules in English.

At the moment, the site includes travel information for Gangwon-do
only. However, we have already received submissions from teachers
living in other provinces, and will be adding those in very soon!

Please have a look through the site, let us know what you
think, and if you feel you could add anything to it, then please
get in touch at contributions@thesouthkoreatravelguide.com

You can also keep track of our updates on Facebook by ‘liking’ our
official page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-South-Korea-Travel-Guide/ 1325416...

or searching for ‘the south korea travel guide’.

We will be adding to and updating the site almost every day – please
pass on the domain name to anyone you think may find it useful, and
help us to grow it into a very useful resource for Westerners all over
Korea!

Thanks Claire,

I"m sure this will be very useful to others. I've bookmarked it in our Korea links library .

I know myself - during my 5 years here this has been an ongoing problem. There used to be train info. in English but then there wasn't, then there was ..... it is slowly improving the last few years in particular with the Seoul Foreigner's center and other organizations blazing the way. I even hear it is now possible to use your ARC and buy thing/order things online as a foreigner - that is if the sites have an English menu.

Thanks,
David
