I bookmarked this page : )
I just blogged about Reference books. Reminded me to share some of these resources....
This is a handy ebook about lecturing and for higher education educators.

Also, a couple of books with great thoughts about language and development.

Two books - The Internet and LanguageTeaching - ESL

Stephen Krashen has released his work: Principles and Practices of Second Lang. Acquisition as creative commons. Share and use the online version but not for reselling.

It's one of the seminal books for all TESOL courses and teachers. See his blog here.

Here are a few extra reading/resources.  What great teachers do differently?  epub version. Also Teacher Made Assessments.

Here is a publicly available book - The Learning ELT Professional.

Nice collection of articles from a conference. Stimulating reading!

Here is a book, open source and free for teachers about using images to teach language.

I'll post a review here shortly once I get time to thoroughly go through the ebook.

I used this book when teaching pre-service teachers in Ontario, Canada.   Key Questions For Educators.

Short, non-jargon filled chapters about essential questions anyone serious about education as a career should think about.

Highly recommend the small but powerful book. Here's a chapter excerpt - Question 24. What is student engagement?
