This is a great worksheet and "thinking" exercise for students to practice English and learn vocabulary. 

See the worksheet attached. 

Lesson Delivery.

1. Make a list of first things on the board. For each prompt students to brainstorm what is next. 

First money.  Then .............

First the sun.  Then ............

2. Show any of the presentations below. Stop and prompt students for the Then ....

3. Let students fill out the worksheet with their own ideas and then share with the class. 

Students can read and study the books on Gif Lingua.

This book is also fantastic and for young learners:  First The Egg.

The book"First The Egg"  is a good intro for this type of creative thinking activity.  An award winning, simple book, great for ELLs.
