About

While it is nice to have a pre-prepared game for a class or topic - it is also a great "best practice" to have students design their own games to practice language or any thing else for that matter.

Here is a nice template where students fill in the categories and describe their own game. Can be a board game or can be an outside, physical game. After, you might get students presenting the game to the class and voting on the best game! And then playing it!

Also- see this board game template. Students fill it in with a name, content and rules and then play! Easy peasy!

This site has a nice rundown of the process of students creating a game.  Of course, also see our whole category of PPT premade games or board games.

Also see our Battleship resources and templates for making your own battleship game.
