This video is quite famous, Academy Award winning short film from the National Film Board Of Canada - Neighbours. 

Use in a lesson with caution - the ending is quite graphic.   

Here are some suggested ways to use as part of a lesson about "being a good neighbor" and resolving conflicts. 

1. Use the template attached and get students to write the dialogue for the video. Orjust have students role play the dialogue without writing and just speaking the parts as the video plays and is paused.

2. What makes a good neighbor. Use the attached brainstorming sheet. Share answers.

3. Role play cards. Provide pairs of students with a card each and they use the situation to speak and resolve the problem. 

4. Use the ppt to retell the story with students and prompt their language.
