About

This is a fantastic video animation!  Lots of ways to use it.

More advanced learners can describe to each other how Ormie tried to get the cookie jar.

Lower levels can do the same using the worksheet and filling in.

Students will be anxious to know if Ormie succeeds!

Students can now read and study this book on Gif Lingua!  Teachers register to get over 2,000 worksheet sets for all books and download all books as pptx / epubs.

Here is a nice ppt that goes with the worksheet also attached. Self explanatory and walks students through the video and explains vocabulary.

Also asks the good question - What is the moral of the story?

Answer: Never Give Up! Good things come to those who keep trying.

I really like this video. I have made a small quiz based on movie. I have attached it.

Thanks for sharing Nima. Your quiz is nice and clear, simple and effective.

It's a great video - I like these silent videos because they can be used with all levels of language learners and very creatively since they aren't limited by the actual language of the video.

Thanks for your commend ddeubel. I have used it for my low level JHS students here in Japan. I have found tha they really like learning English through the use of film, and I particular enjoy silent films as it forces the students to look more and to pay attention as to not miss anything etc. I plan to add more powerpoint quizzes in the future to different videos as well. Thanks again for your continuing hard work in uploading all these videos / activities.

Students can study the flashcards and play games to learn the vocab   here.
