Here is a great play for the classroom , I wrote it based on the story "The little mole" Find the video book in our A/V player or in videos....

Also some other short plays.

THIS SITE has a long list of free copiable scripts for kids. Find one you like and modify as needed for ESL / EFL.  Find some reader's theatre scripts HERE.

Here's a game to go along with The Story of the Little Mole... Whopooped (from the Minnesota Zoo)

It's interactive!!
Here are a couple Do / Understand short story handouts. Students read and then their partner "does" the story.

Also, see the video "The True Story of the 3 Pigs" for a nice drama version of the classic book and screenplay.

These two "young theatre" plays are really nice and would be easy for teachers to organize and perform. 

1. Iggy Peck - a perfect story about a boy who wants to be an architect despite his teacher.

2. Dr. Ted - funny story about becoming a doctor
