I love using flashcards with students. Used properly, they are a wonder of communicative learning and fostering student autonomy. 

Now it is easier to make flashcards or get them!

Gif Lingua + Quizlet. We have the largest collection of flashcards for Eng. language learning on Quizlet + they move! 1,000s of sets all categories. 

Go directly there to view or see.  Or read the blog post about these sets matched to each Gif Lingua leveled reader. 

Here are some nice "opposites" flashcards. for beginners.

Huge set. Print some pages. Students cut up then match. 

One student chooses a card and makes a sentence. Another finds the match (opposite) and makes an opposite sentence. 

Can also be played like a game of "Fish".  One makes a sentence and who has the opposite card makes a sentence and gets the match. Most matches wins.
