One super great, amazing activity for students (Intermediate / advanced) is to research and present to the class about a famous person.

I prefer to really leave it open and not narrow it down (inventor, movie star, writer, politician etc ...) but it depends on your class and topic.

Here are a few great templates to help students organize their research about a famous person.

Also, students can study the language and learn about Famous people in this Gif Lingua book.

This template to research an obituary would also be helpful. Same idea but students research a person who has died and write their obituary - also present their life to the class.

Here are some cards for celebrities / famous people. Use to assign a famous person to research.

Or use just for guessing games. Students walk around class and have to guess who they are (tape to the back of their shirt). Or just pick up a card, describe and see who guesses first!

If you like these cards, you'll love our book of dozens of complete sets. Purchase HERE and support the community!
