Sesame Street is a classic TV show and it turns 50 this week!

Here are some resources on the community and to use in your classroom to teach about this amazing show.

1. Characters. Students label the characters.

2. Sesame Street Parody of Pirates of the Caribbean. Watch and answer the questions worksheet.

3. I love trash. Great song by Oscar the Grouch!

4. Counting. Count with the Count!

5. One of these things is not like the other. Get the song and game sheets HERE.

Here is a nice lesson plan about kindness using Sesame Street materials. Also a wordsearch about Sesame Street characters.

Another site to find Sesame Street related materials:  Sesame Street Printables.

A nice exercise for learners. Deciding on whether objects sink or float. Use with the research worksheet attached. Check the answers with the Cookie Monster!
