This game is a classic and elicits lots of language from students.  It can be as simple as showing students a picture and then from a blank phrase on the board "On the left .......  but on the right  .........."

Here are a few ppts to help play. Also see this Lesson In A Can description and resources for the game, a nice one that includes reading.

Here are a few more to challenge students.

I'm having trouble downloading these powerpoints. It just downloads as a file type with no known program to open it.

Hi Nikke.

I am talking to technical support right now. Trying to get a solution. For now, download the file and then edit the name by putting  .ppt  at the end. It will then open. Same with .pdf  .doc      Trying to get this fixed urgently.

Thanks for your patience.

  • Nikke.  Are you still having this problem?

Yes, it's still happening as of today. But David's fix has been working.
