A presentation I whipped up.  This ppt gets students stating their opiniosn on many things rapidly.

Students have to be quick - they have 10 seconds to state their preference/like/dislike/opinion and use the correct form.

After, students can use  a survey card (attached) and go around the class surveying opinions and then reporting back.

Works well and will get students talking!

This is a nice template to use to get students stating their opinions on things in English.

Also see our presentation materials with students giving presentations on the pros and cons of things.

Also see our community ebook - Get Talkin. There is a page of gambits related to opinions but also many handy exercises related to conversation - agreeing, disagreeing etc ...

Here are some nice cards to get students giving their opinions.  Opinion cards + Love or Hate.

Put a few opinion replies for and against on the board for students to use to reply. Ex.  Yuck! No Way!  I hate it, them!  Are you kidding!    ---   Luv 'em, it.  Yummy!  They're fantastic.  Can't live without them ... etc
