We have LOADS of Winter Olympics and just plain "Olympic" materials for use in the classroom.

But it is time to consolidate everything for the Winter Olympics here in one category. Find the huge Olympics only category  HERE.

Go HERE to see a full page of extra Winter Olympic links, videos and resources.

So find here below all our best Winter Olympics teaching resources.

Students can read books and study vocabulary about the Winter Olympics on Gif Lingua. Winter Olympic MomentsWinter Olympic Sports

This Olympic project is cool. Give a pair or group one country to research and present to the class. Then follow the medal race and see which country wins the most medals! A perfect research, presentation and motivation project.

Here is a nice quiz on the winter olympics. Also some guessing cards. Students read out a definition and others try to be the first to guess the Winter Olympic sport.

Here are a few well designed activity sheets about the Winter Olympic sports.

Here is a ppt introducing facts about the Winter Olympics and Pyeongchang.

Also has a nice quiz at the end to test knowledge of winter olympic sports.

Use the attached worksheet to have an Olympic competition at your school!

The last powerpoint has general questions to discuss sports.

Here are some nice discussion questions about the Winter Olympics. Also a bingo card that can be used to practice the names of the sports.
