My interest in Hungary is in her people (but I love the wine and the baths!). I've been honored to both meet in person and read some of the greatest minds and people in the whole world and they happened to be Hungarian. So they remain my interest.

I met Gyorgy Faludy in Canada and he's one reason I'm the thinker I am. Also, ran with Edit Berces. I'll have to get her to join this group and she is the greatest woman ultra distance runner in the world, ever.

But Koestler is my hero. Maybe not a "true" blue Hungarian but to me he is the brightest genius to light up this earth. But we also have the Polyani family and Mikes..... I could go on and on.....

Sorry to be off topic but thought I'd share my own interest in Hungary (not being Hungarian). Sure wish I had some Egri Bikaver tonight, oh well, maybe one day soon....
