I'm also hapy to join this group.. I'm a Canadian foreign assistant teacher in a pubic high school in Korea,. The challenges are many - multi-level classrooms, poor textbooks, big classes, an outdated approach to language learning and very passive students, but thanks to sites like this, I stay energized. . .

I like teaching in the public elementary school. I've taught in 2 different schools at Asan City for the last 2 years.It's challenging but fulfilling job.

I'm glad to take a minute and join this group. Yes, we need to remain energized. It can be a struggle to keep up with a fast changing society when as someone stated, we are faced with many obstacles. I am finding TPR to be most useful in the classroom and will share more about that in pictures soon. I'm Jeff from Chungnam area.

Hey guys!!

So I just found out that I'll be getting my own classroom in the high school I teach in- can anyone make any specific suggestions for how to set it up? It's about twice the size of the normal classroom, so I'm thinking of having an 'English cafe' area, but I can't decide...
