"Join the learning revolution" June 2010
Learning Revolution

Fellow EFL 2.0 Members,

May has been a wonderful month with many new members, new resources, awards, tools and lots of talk. A teacher's life is always busy!  Find out about all these below - thanks for helping us continue to support new English teachers around the world. You are the learning revolution!

The ELT Random Blog Generator
Eng. Central

I am  highlighting the Random ELT Blog Generator , front and center because I think it really important.

Our philosophy here on EFL Classroom has always been to help teachers find resources, learn about all the wonderful tools out there and better themselves. Never to "possess" and keep you on the site with ads and flash. In that vein, the generator I developed will help you find active, great English Language Teaching blogs. To gain ideas, get resources and most importantly, form community. I hope you get lucky!  Please let us know the gems you find. Tnanks to all who have supported this.

Video of the Month

This month's "hottest" is a karaoke chant I made using Eminem's new song. Lots of great discussion followed about using "strong" language with students. the impossible hampster was shared by member Roselinks - a delightful animation with a surprising lesson. Mr. W- got lots of views and is a great way to discuss "differences". Ken Robinson - The Learning Revolution is a sterling, humor filled call for a future where the classroom is everywhere. Thank you Sir Ken!
