I was wondering what you all thought of learning designs pertaining to English language teaching? What are the ways in which you design your lessons to achieve better learning in your students?Continue
Yes, you have to be a member and logged in to use the chat! I really like the style and appearance.
I got it because I was an early tester for the Widget Laboratory. It was made by "The Evil Genius" and he is a genius when it comes to this stuff..... You have to join their ning but then can get some things free and some for payment. I am not sure if the chat is still "free" but I think it should be. Go search there to find out.
If not, I can always get you a code, don't worry. But try there first!
Hope you are getting some spring there! We had a taste here in Korea but now back to some chilly weather for another few days...I can't wait for the warmth!
I'm not famous (or at least have a little of my 15 minutes of Andy Warhol fame). Our football grass is looking a little brown!
I live in the apt. building on the right hand side of the V. It takes me 1 min to walk to work! On top of the mountain is a wonderful view of all Seoul and I run it most days. Also, many old bunkers and trenches from the war as well as a still functioning army radar outpost.
If you send me a clue about your school I'll do the same and post a pic on my page! I'll be a lot slower finding you though....
It's David and I'm finally replying! So sorry but I've been swamped and out of the city (Seoul, Korea) running some workshops. Now trying to get some work done!
I"m so glad your class is learning through a network like Ning and really learning so much! We learn by doing and participating and less so just sitting and listening.
Take a look at the main forum, I've made a post about tabs etc....and uploaded a document that will give you addresses to find the important info. (you don't think I'm going to just tell you, do you? -- we learn by doing :)) Also, I've been asked by a few members this and other questions and this will kill a few flies with one swat.
I've been reading your teacher's brief accounts of your Ning adventure and it sounds wonderful! So many tasks and I look forward to visiting your site one day and surfing through....glad you can find so much here that is helpful and please let me know what you like! New look coming Jan. 01 too.
You have provided a thrilling week for us. We'll continue to investigate the multitude of learning resources here at your site.
We had some problems with getting the site unblocked; there was a big wait, and during that time we could only use my computer which is hooked to cable. This coming week and over break we'll have more time to explore.
Thanks for providing a stellar model of new age learning in ACTION.
(I'll get you later for the Fling the Teacher game---
No, just kidding, that got a couple of kids into wanting to design similar games going with our curriculum.)
Thanks for your personal attention, the welcomes, everything.
Wow, wow, and triple-wow!!!!
I love the fire photo - it is so cold here in Korea I need some warmth.....keep the fire burning!
Welcome to EFL Classroom 2.0! I hope you'll find a great "home" for learning and teaching. I look forward to your own contribution here. By sharing and learning from one another, all our jobs get easier.
Make sure you introduce yourself in our "introduce yourself" forum! Find others with common interests and Make Pals by inviting members to be your friend! And if you want, show others where you are from on the Frappr map.
When you have a moment, personalize your homepage, click around and see a lot of great videos, presentations, links to resources (games/readers/karaoke) pics and music. Share in the forums and put up or link to your own blog. Check out our great Buzka library of links. Join a group that interests you or form your own! You have unlimited photo storage and can make your own albums and slideshows.
If you have a classroom, invite your students to use EFL Classroom 2.0. Lots of top knotch content for them. Ning allows multiple logins, so create one class account/page and then everyone can use EFL Classroom 2.0 with the same ID/PW. Or create your own classroom group!
In the new year, an improved resource site with everything for teaching will arrive –
Please take a look at the EFL FAQ link on the main page.
Note our Media Fire unlimited file sharing for sharing / storing materials. ID: firstname.lastname@example.org PW: eflclassroom
You may also download many videos (karaoke/teaching and readers) at vimeo with the same password. Our new video preview player also allows both full screen and downloading. Click the arrow.
Most of all, keep sharing and discussing. By contributing your expertise with the community you make all our jobs easier, better.
