I think Adele found a gentleness and generosity about the people she was visiting and filming (she is a filmmaker and was filming a public service announcement for some agency, I will have to ask her again which one.)
I'm an elementary teacher in Portland, OR. Though I have taught ESL, it's been awhile. My husband is from Vietnam though, so "English as a Second Language" has had, and continues to have, a big impact in my life.
My husband left Vietnam in 1975, and did not return until four years ago, with our three children (I stayed home). They were all dismayed. It is late here and I am tired, so I must go to bed, but it is very nice to have a deeper, more real connection with you.
Take care of yourself, and be careful! (mother's advice)

Nice to see your real self : ). My daughter visited Thailand a few months ago and thought your country was wonderful- she said it was better than Vietnam (shh, don't tell, because she is half-Vietnamese!)
