Featured Resource: Words

The amazing video WORDS is one of the most used resources on the community.  The video by Radio Labs is captivating and perfect for language instruction. It teaches students the meta skill of "language awareness", something very important for all language learners (and part of the realm of "noticing" that allows learners to become self - directed learners).

The video has sets of verbs and the students must watch and group the related word shown. A perfect way to introduce the concept of "word families"or "collocations".   This is part of the Lessons in a Can - hundreds of self contained lessons and materials for EFL Classroom 2.0 Supporters.

*** There might still be a youtube version available - DON"t use it. I've edited the video and took out the explicit parts not appropriate for any age of student.
