About

He who dares to teach, must never cease to learn.

Many teachers are lifelong learners, so am I. But if I knew about EFL Classroom 2.0, I'd have saved plenty of time!

I used to spend endless hours reading magazines, surfing the Internet and looking for any useful information about technologies in teaching English, about blogs, iPods, podcasts and interactive games. I was so proud of what I knew and could apply in my work! I shared my knowledge and experience with other teachers, made presentations and conducted workshops. But when I joined EFL Classroom 2.0 I realized that I was a beginner again, and here I found lots of resources and sites to explore. And again, I'm ready to learn, because 'all learning begins with a simple phrase, "I don't know".

Good news is that there are so many wonderful and outstanding teachers ready to give advice and share their ideas.

I have just joined English for Fun and Friendship group. It's really to my liking.

Valentina,

Ellen and her group will be close to your heart. She does so much just like you describe - learning, sharing and applying her knowledge. She's a gold mine of information about what is out there for students - especially younger students....

Thanks for the nice words about this little site! I'm proud of having a place and space where teachers can learn about technology - not just with tutorials but with constantly updated examples/ideas.

Hi Valentina,

You are so true, "all learning begins with a simple phrase, "I don't know".  i also think in a same way. Life is a long trail which allows us to learn many things each day, passing by. When one thinks himself a perfect person, that is might a biggest mistake of his life.

"Learning follows various roads.........we note the start but not the end". (Khalil Gibran)

Thanks

Amna
