I have just discovered 'The Site for Books and Readers'!

It's a great resource for teachers and all people who are fond of literature.

What a wonderful way to remember some of the most favourite authors!

Do you have your own virtual bookshelf?

There are quite a few of these type of sites these days.... Each with their own + / - I guess.

I started making a list at Good Reads  Helpful to new teachers I hope. Also, our Amazon library is handpicked by myself, so it is a type of "list". What I recommend and feel works or what other teachers have recommended on my surveys (see the picture book list - sterling favs from hundreds of teachers!).

If anyone wants to add books to the above list - use id/pw: / eflclassroom  .  Community list.

Here's a forum conversation on this topic too.

That's great. Thanks. I usually use Good Reads  which in some ways is similar to Shelfari.
