About

Rewarding Student Achievement

I have always promoted in my own teacher training, the need for teachers to focus on praise and student success. Nothing breeds success like the feeling of success ....

One way to do so is to give out student achievement certificates. Informally and as a way of rewarding student success in the classroom.  I've done it at the end of a course in many of my classes, regardless of the formal rewards administration gives out. It is for the class and for our own celebration of our efforts to better ourselves.

On our teacher tools, you'll find a nice powerpoint for custom making a certificate.  But Certificate Magic is  a cool, quick, online way to make a certificate you can print out and give students. Also get many, many professional certificates in our store.

It is really self explanatory and gives you a number of custom templates to use. Enter the info. and download the PDF. Print and give to students.  The only drawback is that there is no bulk creation so if you want to put in each students' name to generate individual certificates, it will take some time.

Here's an example that I made in 2 minutes on certificate magic.  The only addition I made is to add the logo to the top by making the pdf an image and then adding the logo to the image file.
