I'm sitting at the front of the group and everyone is prepared for the usual blablabla, teacher talk, present, maybe have time for questions thing. However, I just sit there. I just sit there and begin with the words.... Tell me what you want to know.
I've actually went so far as to propose this to a number of conferences and as workshop proposals. Not a bite. I don't know why all organizes, administrations seem so afraid of this kind of workshop. Perhaps it seems to easy? Might be too beneficial and then what would happen to all the paid "mouths" in ELT, clicking their presentations and droning on and on, roaming from city to city with the same speech, the same "look at me, I'm here" role.
But now, I want to try. So I'll be holding a webinar, Thurs, Nov. 6th, 10am EST. Get full details HERE and RSVP for event notifications and room links. Attend and you'll also get a code for free access to the Basic TESOL Certificate Course!
The idea is for me to simply share my own expertise, provide lessons, website links, apps, advice that really work. My own strength as a teacher trainer is knowing what is out there, I'd like to share that.
See you at the webinar!
