Check out the games page here. Lots of really "literacy" oriented stuff. I'm a big proponent when it comes to literacy of "input" and just getting the kids enough time/structure to let it sink in. This should be through audio support of text so that kids are making the connections between sound and those squiggles on the page. Our story directory is also great for this, as well as all the karaoke that might motivate kids.

There are some great sites as well. Check out our Buzka (click LINKS). I've culled this and only really good sites make it through. Lots of categories.

I really think EFL needs an online, video supported teacher training component / site. So many thousands of new teachers every week that need this.....keep me posted and if I can help in any way, let me know.

We hope to expand our range of resources soon on ALISON to a Teacher training via ICT section so I will keep you updated.

Do you know of any good interactive resources for literacy, reading, spelling etc. I also volunteer as a literacy tutor and it was really with regard to this I was having a nose around the net.
