Moodle

So, I followed www.lynda.com instructions to build a moodle website on my laptop... but now I need to find a resource that will tell me how to transfer the moodle on my laptop to a school server or the internet. This might mean that I need to find a web host (well, I defo need a web host eventually, as I want to make my courses available to a wide community). I know the information is out there... it's all probably available on the moodle site, but if anyone… Continue

You're welcome! Actually really just wanted something to get more "new" teachers knowing about the diversity out there. I'll be allowing teachers also to enter their own blogs in the near future and see how that goes. But yes, a simple concept like that can be cool -- I've been enjoying it too! Forces me to diversify - the internet sometimes makes you become very narrow and that can be detrimental.

I'll introduce this in our newsletter to all members.... cheers,

David

Hey Tim!

Thanks for your recent comments, will replying after I get through some other things (resource making!). Your blog is there or just click BLOGS above and "Members Blogs". It is in the scroller. (I just hadn't the time to keep entering the hundreds of members blog so went automatic, my apologizes, never thought it would come to that!) Find your blog here too... http://www.diigo.com/list/eflclassroom/members-blogs

More later,

David

Hi Tim! This is the url I put on the blog roll on 3/30/10...

http://eslteachertim.livejournal.com/

...or it could be that I went to put it on our blog roll, saw that David had just added eslteachertim, and assumed it was the same person... I really can't remember! (Sometimes David and I overlap, the right hand not being quite sure of what the left hand is doing.)

Anyway, it looks like a different blog! So I added the address you gave me today, http://www.eslteachertim.com/blog.html, just now.

Glad to see you again! Sorry for any confusion with the blog ;)

Tim,

I will try to locate the exact scene and give you the details soon. Thanks for coming to my technology rescue. I tried visiting the Youku site, but unfortunately I can't read it. Is there an English option by chance?
Cheers,
Kristina
