Ellen,

Yes, Amazing! I'm going to show while I prepare for my workshop this morning and I'll see what the teachers think about it. (the lecture will be very "dry" so I need some spice - it's about assessment! ugh...) . Awesome stuff!

It's fun to have a place to share when I come across something special : )

This animation made me think of that visually transfixing poem you posted, David, The dreamlife of letters. I looked up his site, Arras, and of course there are more links to explore, but he lists several projects other people have created, and I thought this one was cute... Bembo's Zoo

I'll probably put it in the abc discussion...

David what did the teachers think of the F is for Fail video? I am giving a teachers workshop on reading and thought I might use this. How did you use it exactly? I am new to teaching and find it difficult to know how to use a resource sometimes. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I did it for the art, George. Did you get a chance to view it full screen? It comes up crystal clear.

Have you visited our Alphabet Resources discussion yet? It is one of my very favorites... such sweetness and sense of community in that one : ) I guess everybody likes a good alphabet story!
