Larry Ferlazzo has a list of sites to get ideas for lessons on the Holocaust. Excellent stuff as always.

I've used the book - "Hana's Suitcase" with children and teens and HIGHLY recommend it. They learn so much. Visit the website. For higher levels, older students, Night by Elie Weisel is the go to book.

This documentary really puts a human face on the holocaust. Memorandum. Brought to you by the excellent site of the National Film Board of Canada.

I'd also like to mention this site of photos of Auschwitz. Students choose and print out 7 photos and make up a story of a person at Auschwitz.

Please see my blog post about this day and with references to books/resources/ideas.

Students might also read one of these biographies of children of the holocaust and give a summary or present to the class.
