Spanish pop scene mourns the loss of a great composer

The original version from the eighties by Nacha Pop makes reference to local clubs in Madrid. A few years after the death of the Spanish dictator Franco, Spain finally became free and this led to a new scene that lasted for at least a decade. It was so important that even till today, Madrid is one of the most famed cities for nightlife in the world. The Penta was the first (or the second) real club with live music from the new Madrid band scene. The group Nacha Pop originated from this scene and were at a daily basis in Penta, either playing or listening to other bands. The band broke up and one of the 2 main members continued a solo career : Antonio Vega, 51, the one wearing a yellow Tshirt, who died yesterday in Madrid.

C'mon, Ellen, do not exaggerate, I'm just an amateur who loves music, especially pop (contemporary popular) music, always learning :-)
