I used to be able to say to my kids, when they would ask me how (when they grew up) to make a family close, "Put the computer in the living room and don't have too big a house." ( I won't force it on everyone, but I have at least a single-spaced page of these nuggets I've told the kids over the years...) Now that advise isn't realistic- it can't keep up with the technology.
