Glad you like it and see the significance. It is a very important cultural document for us Canucks. Also, a lot of cultural stuff that can't be translated!


If anyone wants to use this. Here's a worksheet I made. Follow instructions or use ppt. Makes a nice rewrite for higher level students. They can tell their own story and make it their own story for their own culture!


I'll upload the ppt and worksheet in our resources (until Ning fixes this and gets us our upload button back - I'm waiting and have been asking!).

Glad you liked it!  It took me a helluva long time to make that transcript and I'm used to the French Canadian accent. But worth it if one teacher uses it in the classroom.....  I think this story is sooooo iconic but also so topical for teens and their obsession with teams, professional athletes and sports teams.
