I will definitely (wow, I hope I didn't mispell it) use it in my classes. I didn't know this rant had been converted in a text-only video. You were right, David, this format or whatever it may be called, is far more interesting from ESL/EFL view. It can help sts concentrate on what really matters, the words, the intonation, the stress. I guess it would be a good idea to preview first the original unsubtitled Taylor's performance and then the one you post here. Thanks, you are of great worth for us.

Yes, you got it! That would be the proper way to "teach" something like this.


I always recommend a "once through" before any kind of chunking of the content.


This stuff will become more popular - more people are putting these things into text because of new formatting possibilities through adobe. A search through Youtube can find many now.

 Hi David, thanks for posting this, I actually had the original video in my teacher workshop that I'm preparing for and I had in as part of my conclusion. I was worried that the teachers might not like his intonation but would like your version better. What do you think? 3 weeks until my workshop!
